The Parish Council has been formally notified by the Parochial Church Council that they intend to apply for the Upper Cemetery to be formally closed.  The Upper Cemetery is full and the last new interment took place in January 1974. 

Since then all interments have been in the Lower Cemetery.

The Parish Council is holding an Extraordinary Meeting on 3 August to discuss the notification from the Parochial Church Council.
